"What the hell? Why is there a crowd so late in the day?"
Alec grumbles in frustration. He looks around trying to squeeze to the front of the crowd in a rush to get home to his child. The sitter had called and said she had to leave early so he had to leave work early. He was still in his sloppily knotted tie and his eyes were droopy as he barely managed to stay awake. As he pushes his way to the front of the crowd he spots a boy about the age of twenty or so playing the guitar and singing. He couldn't quite make out the words but the tube was beautiful, and his voice... his voice was something hauntingly touching to Alec. He stepped closer out of instinct until he was mere inches away and listened carefully. After the performance was over, the boy stood up and looked around at the crowd and picked up the money he had earned. He thanked everyone, then turned to walk off. Alec grabbed his wrist instinctively
"Wait... Wait a second. Is that all? You're leaving after only one song?"
