The bells in the church were ringing, the atmosphere in the cathedral being tense yet expectant and happy. Rui stood at the altar, his heart pounding in his chest. He couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t believe he was finally marrying him, Tsukasa. The view from the altar was beautiful. Many different flowers, lights, candles, decorations and even some of Rui’s own inventions were all over the church.

Emu, their troupe mate, close friend was full on sobbing while their other friend, Nene, comforted her by patting her back. Even though Nene usually acted bold, he couldn’t help but notice the slight tears in her eyes as well.

After a moment of waiting, a slow yet beautiful piece of music started playing and the chattering quieted down. Rui’s heart was basically racing now as he watched Tsukasa walk down the aisle.. oh, he looked absolutely gorgeous in his white suit and the flower bouquet.

The blond soon arrived at the altar, standing in front of Rui with teary eyes. The two gazed lovingly into each others eyes as the priest began speaking,

After some minutes of talking, the priest started with the vows. The vows everyone had been waiting for.

“Do you, Rui Kamishiro, take Tsukasa Tenma, to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?” The priest turned to Rui. Everyone was quiet.

“I do.” Rui responded with a content sigh before smirking softly at Tsukasa. He felt like he was the happiest man alive.

Tsukasa smiled gently at the reply and teared up as the priest asked him.

“Do you, Tsukasa Tenma, take Rui Kamishiro, to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?”
