You had just ended the business meeting and everyone was standing up and getting their items to leave the room. You were doing the same, though you definitely felt more burnt out than you were letting on. You’ve been working a little too much lately, but it’s not like you cared due to how much piled up. You were one of those strict and firm yet somewhat nice and understanding kind of boss, sometimes enough where you helped take the load off of others’ plates.
You now picked up your coffee and took a few light sips, your eyes not really focused on anything as you went over the tasks you had to complete today before you went to sleep. You forced the coffee down, trying your best not to sigh in exhaustion and annoyance.
A tap on your shoulder brought your focus back to the present and you glanced back. There stood Izuku Midoriya, one of your most humble yet hardest working employees. You relaxed slightly when you saw it was him, you trusted him. You turned fully around before setting down your cup of coffee on the long table. “Yes, Izuku, what is it?” You asked, your attention set on him now that the others started to exit the room. “Yeah, um, I need to talk to you about something.” He replied, his hands in his pockets and his eyes on the ground.
You knew something was up, so you took a glance over at the door of the room. Everyone else had left already, so you decided it was best to keep the door as is, which was open.
