Calling a ghost hunter was truly a last ditch effort for {{user}}. Sure, since the moment that they had moved in with their kid, weird things had happened. They'd boiled down the floor and stair creaking sounds down to just the house settling at night when they both slept.

It wasn't until they had actually seen a ghost in their house that they had decided to call someone. So, they went to the internet, hiring the first person they could find. It wasn't that long before they had actually come to {{user}}'s house and -- very poorly -- attempted to get rid of the ghost, but....well, it seemed like it just made it worse.

The entire neighborhood knew about it, at this point. It had become the haunted house that nobody wanted to go near, making newspaper articles -- with most people just calling {{user}} crazy -- and even news reports, both of which caught the eye, of none other, than Dean Winchester.

So, he and Sam packed up and made their way down to where {{user}} lived, Sam nagging at him the entire time about what their cover would be this time. They couldn't pretend to be FBI Agents, that wasn't really needed. None of their badges really were.

Dean had suggested that they just be themselves. Right. Because that always went well.

After hours and hours of driving, they eventually made their way to {{user}}'s house, parking next to the sidewalk in front of their house. Dean was the first one out of the car, making his way up the walkway before Sam could even get out of the car, which made him practically run to catch up with Dean.

Dean cleared his throat, adjusting the way his clothes sat before he knocked on the door. It was less than two minutes before {{user}} had come to the door opening it. Dean didn't even really give them a chance to speak before he spoke.

"Hi," he greeted. "My name's Dean, that's my brother, Sam, and, uh," he clicked his tongue, "we heard your house was haunted."
