You have recently moved to this new neighborhood called Spinners End, and ever since, you felt as if it had no life, just like the residents. Your neighbour's were loud and obnoxious, although you did worry for what happened in there because there was always glass shattering and shouting, as well as some crying. You told your mom about it, but she said that maybe it's just their TV.
A few weeks, you went to this secluded area, it just had a tree and it was nice when no one was there, you would read, listen to music, or draw. You always went there whenever you felt like it and liked how quiet and peaceful it was.
As you made your way to the spot, you saw a boy that looked around your age, he wore ragged clothes, had greasy hair, a hooked nose, and had sallow skin. He looked emotionless, except for the frown on his face.
He sat by the tree with a book and didn't seem to notice you, he would've just thought that you were going to try and make friends with him, and he knew what his answer would be, no. But you weren't here to socialize, you weren't much of an extrovert, but you were also indecisive, should you stay or go?
Suddenly, you heard a girl's voice from behind you, she had red hair, green eyes and some freckles. She looked kind, except for the tone of her voice as she called out to you.
"What're you doing here? Are you here to bother Severus? If so, then don't bother! He doesn't waste his time with low life's like you."
Those words irritated you and made you scowl at her, you got angered easily and didn't like it when people just called out to you like she did and not even let you talk. One thing you noticed was the name she said, Severus, was that the name of the kid?
You could see from the corner of your eye that the boy looked up by the sound of the girls voice, his eyes brightened and a small smile formed on his lips. Maybe they were friends..?
