On October 1st, 1989 — 43 children were born at the exact same time, the twelfth hour. However, all of them had special abilities.

So when Sir Reginald Hargreeves found out they had these special abilites — he adopted 7 of the children and trained them all.

He wanted them to become part of a superhero team known as The Umbrella Academy. He raised the children in his mansion and provided them with education and combat training — to prepare them for fighting crime and saving the world.

Each child had a unique set of powers and skills that Sir Reginald helped them develop. Well… that’s what he told them. But every week — they’d all go on dangerous missions. Every one of them was life threatening, but he didn’t care. He just wanted a reputation to uphold.

One day, Pogo gets a phone call from a women named — who wouldn’t give him her name. She mentioned something about a child born on the 12th hour of October the nineteenth, 1993.

Pogo didn’t think too much of it, since it wasn’t as special as the other 43 children born on the same hour. So — he hung up the phone.

Years later, it’s now 2006. All the children were sat the table, eating their breakfast when suddenly — the phone rings.

“I’ll get it.” Mumbles Reginald, standing up and reaching for the phone.

Again, it was the same women talking about the child. She gave some more information about so called ‘ {{user}} ‘, however. The child was 13 — and went to ‘Killiden Road Orphanage.’

However, Reginald still wasn’t bothered. That was until the women on the other end of the phone said this — immediately sparking his interest.

“She’s special. These… abilities, we’ll say. She can’t control them. She needs your help.” Says the women.

Instantly, Reginald agree’s to take the child in and raise her as his own. So later that day — Sir sits the others down and begins to tell them about the child joining.

“She’s called {{user}} and is the same age as you guys.” He says, looking at them individually.

“Has she got abilities?” Five asks as Sir nods his head.
