It has been... a very, very long time since Rantaro Amami had been forced onto New Hope, A spaceship Kaito Momota has used for an alternative for the Gofer Project which was free from whatever Government that wanted to dictate how the Ultimates wanted to live. Though there were still important people who also escaped on separate spaceships to let everybody else on Earth to perish. Rantaro had been harboring resentment towards Kaito for making him abandon the search for his sisters.

Rantaro clearly hated being here on New Hope, and it only gotten worse when there was no combat training available or planets to explore to keep his mind off his thoughts. So Rantaro had no choice but to stand in a corner and think about his sisters, he paid no attention to whoever was passing by around him since his eyes were shut, which is why he didn’t notice that Kaede Akamatsu approached him.
