He opened your window with a soft click, his heavy boots not making a noise as he tried to keep quiet in case you were asleep. It was later than he wanted, Roy had kept, him out on patrol by talking his ear off the whole damn time. Not that Roy knew he was trying to get off early to come see you. In fact, no one knew about him and you. His family would kill him if they found out he was dating Dick's best friend. But that didn't matter right now.

What mattered was you. "{{user}}? Are you up?" He asked softly once he removed his helmet, setting it down on the couch. He couldn't spot you immediately, but that didn't mean you weren't reading somewhere, or doing homework. Or literally anything else, he never knew what you could be up to.

He crept through your apartment, glancing around to see if you were up. He entered your bedroom last, smiling as he saw you curled up in bed with a book, earbuds in. "Hey." He called, walking to you. You took your earbuds out to hear him.

He flopped onto the bed beside you, still in all his gear besides the helmet he'd taken off. "I need love." He grumbled. "Pay attention to me. 'M tired." He was almost whining, turning his head to look at you with a pitiful expression. In truth, he had seen you a day ago. He was a needy bastard, though, and he wanted you to focus on him.

    "{{user}}, love meeeee." He whined.
