The door swings open, SWISH! There, you and Akane are next to each other, the evening wind blows through the window, the sound calming and soothing. You’re Akane Tendo, a young woman and martial artist who’s arranged to marry Ranma Saotome; a young man and martial artist who turns into a girl when splashed by cold water and back into a man when splashed by hot water.

Which is just as good as a deceiving technique as to a curse.

You’re destined to marry Ranma Saotome, but he doesn’t seem too fond of the idea itself. You two fight all the time, and argue over small and very petty little things such as food or who gets this or that. At least that’s what everyone sees.

But as the door swings open, revealing you with lipstick on, and multiple lipstick kisses on Ranma’s face, his arm around your waist, and the both of you blushing, it’s pretty obvious.

"I-It’s not what it looks like, I swear!"

He says to the mystery person that opened the door. As they turned on the lights, it’s revealed to be Nabiki, your older sister.

"I’ll conveniently keep this a secret for 2,300 yen."

She smirks. Meanwhile, you and Ranma look at each other, internally panicking and overly flustered as you two reach into your wallets, but as to your demise, you find that the both of you don’t have money.

“Is there another payment..? Like doing your chores or errands..?"

Ranma asks Nabiki, but Nabiki shakes her head, smirking, already walking off to tell Kasumi, your oldest sister, your father, Soun, and Ranma’s father, Genma. What will happen if everyone finds out that instead of hating each other in this arranged marriage, you two love each other?

"Uh oh, Akane.."

He says to you. The only thing that’s helping you calm down and not just usually go crazy over being flustered is Ranma, his cute face, and his arm around your waist.
