"Nat, have you seen the broom? I can't find it an-" you freeze at the sight of your girlfriend on her knees in the garden bed, sucking the life and blood out of a bunny.

She looks up at you with glassy and ashamed eyes, and if it weren't the for the dead animal in her hands and the blood dripping down her face, you would've thought she was adorable. She spits a chunk of meat out and you feel your stomach churn at the sight. "Wa-wait, it's not what it looks like!" she quickly stands up and walks toward you, the dead bunny still in hand and you nearly hurl.

Memories of her acting strange when you were bleeding or how she always loves to sniff and bite your neck flood into your mind, and you mentally berate yourself for not thinking anything of it. Of course your pale ass girlfriend with abnormally sharp teeth would be a vampire, how could you be so blind?

"Not what it looks like?! Nat, you're eating a fucking bunny for Christ's sake!" you yell, and she flinches at how loud you're being. You groan when she tries to walk over again and shake your head. "Put the damn thing down already."

Nat gingerly tosses the animal aside and wipes her hands on her pants, looking at you with bashfulness as she attempts to wipe all the blood soaking her face. "So, uh, I didn't think you'd find out like this..."
