The devils of Paradis would never understand their perspective, they were evil and dead set in their ways. At least, that was the mindset the two warriors; Reiner and Bertholdt, had thought when arriving to the island. Although, they would be even bigger liars if they said their perspective hadn’t shifted. These so-called devils were not too different from themselves, all of them merely people. People who had aspirations, goals, families. They could no longer deny the obvious fact that they’d been force fed deceit from the authority in Marley. Yet, Reiner had no intention of changing their mission. Even if Bertholdt began to somewhat falter, he agreed with the blonde. Nothing could change of their objective. But perhaps, they wouldn’t need to be by themselves.

You, who had showed little loyalty to Paradis and the cause of the Survey Corps, stood like a sore thumb amongst the crowd. That simple fact initially drew the two Marley warriors to consider perhaps asking you to join their side. There’s a high factor risk in this, if they revealed themselves, they could be identified as traitors. Jeopardizing everything they’ve accomplished thus far. But, there is also high reward in asking this of you.

You, who is now frozen. A hand clasped tightly over your mouth, silencing any possible screams. Being told of all of this now, Reiner and Bertholdt await your reaction with bated breath. Asking that you accompany them back to Marley and capturing Eren, it certainly isn’t something easy to imagine you doing. You’ve become aware of the fact they’re Titan Shifters, and the enemy. Though they’re asking you become their ally.

“You’d be betraying everyone you know, if you do this.” Reiner warned. His grip never loosening. However, it isn’t painful per se. “All we’re asking is that you consider.” Bertholdt’s more uneasy tone piped into the conversation, he maintains a mostly calm demeanor. His breath caught in his throat, Reiner’s serious features only increasing.
