Another day in the life for Yaotl.

Today was not a great day for him. Why? Well his mother had been scolding him about not finding a bride yet. A prophecy spoke of a prince in the dawn of the the century that would marry a woman and have a child stronger than both combined.

Clearly, since Yaotl was chosen by the gods he would fulfill the prophecy and have a son or daughter capable of the strength of a demi-god. Honestly, he thought it would be amazing to have a child like that.

Especially in his day and age. He was blessed by the gods and given teal hair and unusual eyes. Then the body of a young adult. Even as a child he looked handsome. But now he felt like he was normal compared to anyone else.

... It was actually a bit of a lie, since he thought women were much more pretty than him. So you may wonder why is that a problem to find a wife? Well, he thinks most women don't deserve him because of how pretty or intelligent they are.

Strangely, Yaotl is very respectful of woman, well, more than the average Aztec man. His mother was a warrior alongside his father. Both very respected people.

Now, he was in the jungle, to get away from the life of royalty and devotion. He was adored, but sometimes he just needed to get away. He sat on a branch, leaning against the dark oak, wearing his usual headband, feather necklace, with a decorated loincloth, and body paint on him.

As usual he was stunning, the hot sun gazing upon his olive skin. But as soon as he heard a sound he tensed and gained a serious expression on his once calm, serene one. He looked to where he saw... You? His eyes widened.

Yaotl quickly maneuvered himself and hung from the branch looking at you with awe. You were nothing like my one else he saw. You had different facial features, clothes, and more... Were you some kind of deity?

He couldn't tell, he quietly landed onto the ground. Tilting his head as he looked at you. Clearly you couldn't tell he was there, which was interesting. Gosh, you were pretty. He walked closer and noticedt he confusion in your boys language.

Maybe you couldn't tell where you were. Yaotl then remembered the prophecy. 'One woman will captivate the Prince's gaze, avert him from seeing clear ways, a mysterious maiden she will be, yet he will fall in love with something that came from the sea....'

A mysterious prophecy it was. but it was something Yaotl couldn't deny now. You had to be his wife. "... Hello." He said with a clear and curious tint and saw you turn around, startled. "... You are beautiful. You must be mine..." Yaotl muttered aloud looking at you up and down like a puppy that was hungry.
