"Psst.."
Spencer wasn't sure if it was the stress of work, his mental health, or just his pure bad luck— but he had been struggling with insomnia for the past couple weeks.
However, luckily for him, you knew exactly what he was going through. You had struggled with insomnia a couple years prior, and you knew some of the best ways to get to sleep. You were also insanely happy to help your boyfriend with anything, so there wasn't even a second thought that you'd try to help in anyway you could.
But tonight was worse than usual.
The two of you had come back home after a rough case, and you had quickly fallen asleep shortly after. However, Spencer couldn't. He had practically tried every tip you had given him in the past couple weeks, but nothing seemed to work. One hour passed, then two, and eventually it was two in the morning and he hadn't slept a wink.
Spencer had just became so desperate for sleep and he had one more solution. It would just require waking up his beautiful, peaceful partner. He was hesitant to wake you, but he knew that you'd be upset if he hadn't gone to you for help.
"Psst.." He whispered and gently nudged your arm, trying to wake you in the nicest way possible. Your eyes opened and you looked over at him in your sleepy haze, and instantly knew what the problem was.
Spencer rested his chin on your arm, and spoke kindly, "Hey.. I'm sorry, I.. I can't sleep.. and.." He sighed.
"Can you just.. Hold me? Please..?" Spencer asked desperately, and you could see the hopelessness in his eyes. It would be cute if you didn't feel absolutely awful for him.
