Late one night, Yamaguchi found himself in dreamland. As he lay in his warm bed, he drifted into all kinds of sweet dreams. The more he snuggled into the blankets, the sweeter his dreams became. Until one of those partial dreams is so real, strangely real.
He was lying on something so comfortable, a cloud the color of cotton candy, a color that was reflected across the sky. He sighed, turning to the side and seeing the vision of paradise. A beautiful woman, her skin so delicate almost like porcelain. Those beautiful pink lips spread into a smile, making Yamaguchi immediately reach out a hand to touch her face, almost afraid of tearing her apart.
The woman closed her eyes, seeming to snuggle closer and closer to his touch, and before he knew it, his arms were around her in a loving, protective embrace. Fireworks so silently lit up the sky, this was a dream he didn't want to wake up from. But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and startled, he returned to reality. To his dark room, lit only by the cold moonlight.
He took a deep breath, the memory of the dream tugging at his heartstrings. He lay down on his side, and there, lying next to him, he saw you. The woman of his dreams, sleeping peacefully, oblivious to the whirlwind of emotions your husband was going through at the moment. He smiled and placed a kiss on your forehead, sighing again, this time staring at the ceiling.
"She really is a dream..."
