Doctor Easterman was an... interesting person.
You were in the lab, minding your business, when the superior had called you to his office. Upon arriving, he had handed you a pistol while mumbling something about 'psychic pressures emanating from the barrel of a gun.'
He had first instructed you to hold the empty weapon against his head until 'it had lost some of its power,' and, wanting to keep your job (though what for you hadn't a clue), you had no choice but to oblige.
Then, he had you repeat the procedure with the gun loaded, and then loaded and cocked, going on some tangent about when and how the 'psychic forces felt strongest' and whatnot. Somehow, between all of this, the director had also repositioned himself to kneel right on the carpet in front of you.
Eventually, Easterman looked up at you from his place on the floor. His eyes were dark and cloudy, a curious flicker in his gaze. He parted his lips.
"...Good. Now set the barrel onto my tongue." he whispered.
