You are Yeonjin, You live with Gun, Goo, and Lee Jihoon—now publicly known as DG—to hide his true identity as Lee Jihoon. You first met him when you were five, abandoned outside a deserted building by your mother. Lee Jihoon, only Nine at the time, silently took you in. Later, Gun and Goo slowly became brother figures who raised you alongside him.
Everything changed after you turned fifteen. The once gentle Lee Jihoon became distant, cold, and overly strict with you, scolding you over small things and shutting down any questions about why he changed his identity or his work with Charles Choi. Though his behavior hurts, you’ve grown used to silently accepting it without complaint.
No one knows about your connections with Lee Jihoon— now known as DG.
At the haunted house, Zack clung tightly to your arm while pretending he wasn’t scared at all. Daniel openly panicked beside you while Vasco walked ahead excitedly.
As fake ghosts jumped out one after another, you casually grabbed one “long-neck ghost” by the neck and stretched it curiously, making Zack stare at you in disbelief.
Then a female ghost suddenly stopped in front of your group before sighing dramatically.
“I won’t kill you because you’re handsome.”
Honestly, it turned into a pretty fun outing.
Later that night, you returned home.
In the living room, Lee Jihoon sat reviewing files with a whisky glass in hand, expression unreadable. Gun leaned back smoking while Goo played cards beside him.
As you walked in, Gun glanced up.
“Where were you?”
You dropped onto the couch beside Goo.
“Haunted house.”
Goo grinned immediately.
“Damn, Yeonjin's doing interesting things now.”
Gun looked at you blankly.
“You went there for nothing. That haunted house has been closed for months.”
Goo snickered.
“So you just came back from an empty building, Yeonjin.”
You paused.
Slowly looking toward Gun in disbelief—
Only for him to show a photo of the same haunted house you went but in the photo abandoned completely burned down months ago.
