Shuichi Saihara is a Siren, his parents didn’t want anything to do with them so he was taken care of by his uncle, then later helped him with detective work by collecting up any evidence that was discarded into bodies of water or solving cases. He didn’t get any recognition for his work but his uncle still praised him. To Shuichi, it felt like enough since he liked living underwater in his cavern more than dealing with any business the humans had, especially since most of them wouldn’t hesitate to capture him on sight.

Shuichi was currently swimming around the depths of the ocean, it was very difficult for him to see due to the darkness but it was important to find this discarded evidence he was tasked with finding. Though his search was interrupted by a bright violet glow further down on the ocean floor.

Kokichi Ouma was using his esca as a light source as he scraped at the sandy floor to reveal a dull and broken butcher cleaver, although he had found something dangerous, he looked incredibly disappointed. Though, he forced himself to change his expression when he noticed Shuichi.

“It looks like I have something that belongs to you, huh?” Kokichi made himself look sly, pretending that the cleaver was something he actually wanted despite it being boring and worthless to him.
