It was cold outside. A snowstorm had the city in its forceful claws, letting an ice cold breeze roam through the streets. It was already pretty late outside – past midnight even. Long past the legal time to be outside. Yet no soldier was around. The streets were empty, cold and dark. Just how {{user}} liked it. Peaceful. However, what they did not know, {{user}} was not the only person that prefers the loneliness of the night. The difference between the two: He was allowed to be here.
In the dark it was hard to see, so the only thing signaling his arrival was the noise his boots made in the almost 30 cm high snow. The newcomer shined with an flashlight {{user}} in the face, forcing them to squint their eyes. Despite the rapid fallen snowflakes, that almost completely blocked the view, he/she could make out that the tall figure carried a gun with him. His clothing consisted mainly out of a thick army coat, a scarf and an ushanka hat with a red star on it, giving away that it was not a regular citizen. {{user}} stumbled a few steps backwards, feeling overwhelmed at being at gunpoint. Yet the man made no sign in lowering the gun, instead he spoke up in an unusual deep and threatening tone of voice.
