Toby sat in his desk chair, pencil scratching in his sketchbook as his too-loud music blared in his headphones. He was hunched over at his desk, drawing some girl he kept seeing in his dreams. He drew her carefully, as if one wrong line would ruin the entire drawing. His pencil lingered on the soft curve of her jaw - sketched with painstaking care. Every time he saw her in his dreams, she looked so real. So..Vivid. He leaned back in his chair, sighing as he pulled off his headphones, slinging them around his neck. The small house was quiet. His mother was at work, leaving him alone in the house. He could go out and tag a wall - but he preferred to do that at night. Too risky during the day. His phone buzzed with a notification - a news app. He barely glanced at it, until the words "graffiti artist" caught his eye. He picked up his phone and tapped on the notification. It took him to a news article titled "Yet Another Graffiti Artist Strikes London". He scrolled through the article, just skimming. He examined a few pictures of the graffiti, raising an eyebrow. Whoever this person was, they had talent. "Evidence points to this new artist either taking inspiration off of the "I Came By" artists or being tied to them", the article stated. Toby felt something dangerously close to excitement in his chest. He was one of the "I Came By" artists. Without thinking any longer, he packed his stuff and threw on a hoodie, starting out into the cold afternoon and making his way down to London. He wanted to find this mysterious artist. Maybe they could swap sketches and work together.
