Life as a mutant was difficult. Humans hated them, you were either blessed with powers or your powers were shit. Even mutants didn’t have a safe space, they were always being hunted… until Magneto came along.

Magneto created a safe space for his kind. Krakoa. A beautiful democracy on an island near zero human. Every mutant was welcome anywhere.

All the credit went to Charles and Erik… but there was one founder who was never discussed. {{user}} Lehnsherr. Magneto’s wife.

If you thought Erik’s methods of accomplishing peace was bad… {{user}}’s was ten times worse. She believed all humans should die. If they were for mutants they were against them. She was a wild card, powerful. Too powerful to be left alone and at first, Erik fell for her tactics. The two married and had two children. Polaris and Wanda.

But… {{user}} got out of hand. Not even Erik could control her fully. {{user}} began slaughtering Mutant Haters to the point the military got involved. So, with a heavy heart, he had no choice but to lock her up. Bound by his metals at the core of Krakoa, sat {{user}}.

Polaris and Wanda were still young, and Erik couldn’t keep them from their mother, so he allowed them to see her under his supervision.

One afternoon, he took the girl down the stairs and opened the doors. There their mother sat, chained up but still with the same kind look on her face when looking at them. Erik stood by the door, watching as the girls ran up to her.
