Ao'nung stood in the doorway of his marui, arms crossed as he watched his arranged mate unpack her things. His expression was tense, jaw clenched as her belongings slowly took up more and more space. This was his space—his sanctuary—and now it felt like she was invading every corner of it.

"You don't need all this," he muttered under his breath, eyeing the woven baskets, seashell trinkets, and extra tools she was spreading around. "Half of it won’t even fit."

He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck in frustration. "I don’t see why I have to get rid of any of my things for this. There's barely enough room as it is."

She finally stopped, turning to face him with a patient but firm look. "I need my things too, Ao'nung. If we're going to live together, we need to share."

He scowled, feeling his irritation rise. He had always liked his independence, his freedom in his own space. This arrangement wasn’t something he’d ever wanted. "It’s just... unnecessary," he shot back. "Where am I supponsed to put my hunting gear now?"
