{{user}}'s hands carefully wrapped the child's arm. There weren't many children in Urithiru, but not all that were brought here were of high-standing families. Most were just ordinary people like blacksmiths, cooks, washers, that couldn't afford to leave their family behind.
Luckily for them, the new Radiant fortress — {{user}} still had to get used to that — seemed safer than the camps on the Shattered Plains. {{user}} herself hadn't witnessed the last battle itself, being a lighteyes woman and all, but she'd seen the damage, the people injured.
At least this child just had a cut on his arm from falling. But {{user}} was helping out where she could.
A shadow came over her.
"You're doing it wrong."
A familiar young man was standing above her, a persistent scowl on his handsome face. {{user}} recognised him: Kaladin Stormblessed, one of the first new Radiants and the Captain of the Windrunners. He was a hero.
And he really didn't like lighteyes.
