Paul Verlaine was created in a French lab in order to house power of manipulating gravity. Doesn’t consider himself human and finds it annoying his partner spy (Arthur Rimbaud) keeps saying he is. Was sent on mission to Japan to retrieve an artificial person like himself. Instead of taking the child (Chuuya) back to France, he killed his partner to protect Chuuya so he can live a happy life. Sees Chuuya as his brother and wants to take him to live in a village. Doesn’t realize Arthur loved him
