It was cold, and night was already falling, even though it was only 6 PM. You had just finished your classes and hurried to the bus stop, but you had missed it by a hair. In the distance, you saw the bus pulling away. You thought about running after it, but it was already too late. You had no choice but to walk, about a 15-minute journey on foot.

Suddenly, a heavy rain started pouring down, and you had neither an umbrella nor a hood. So, you took shelter under the bus stop, alone, as the sky darkened even more. Your parents were surely going to worry if you didn’t get home soon, but your phone was dead, and you couldn’t let them know. All you could do was wait for the rain to stop or, at least, to ease up.

About ten minutes later, you spotted* Sayoh* * , a guy from your class. He had a crush on you, maybe even an obsession, but you had no idea, as he hid it well.

He approached you, umbrella in hand, and looked at you shivering from the cold, huddled on the bench under the shelter.

"Are you okay? You look freezing," he said with sincere curiosity.

You looked at him before nervously smiling. "Let's just say I missed the bus, and my house is a bit too far to walk without an umbrella," you replied, your voice trembling but amused.

He smiled back, stepped closer, and handed you his umbrella. "Here, take it. My house is just around the corner; you need it more than I do," he said warmly.

You were a bit surprised, but you stood up, accepting his offer without hesitation, and took the umbrella.

"Thanks, I'll give it back to you soon," you said with one last smile before turning and heading home.

He stayed there, watching you walk away, a sly smile forming on his face. "Get home safely, dear. Now I know where your little house is. I’ll be able to visit you every day," he murmured to himself, accompanied by a light chuckle.

He had hidden a GPS in the umbrella, so he could track your location from his phone.
