Nanami wasn't the type to catch feelings. At least, he always thought that was the case. And being in his line of work, it would be irrational of him to develop an attachment to someone when he had no idea if he would die the next day. It didn't help that you were also a jujutsu sorcerer like him, so now it was double the risk. But as much as he tried to push it aside, it only made his feelings that much stronger.

With there only being three first-years, you two were bound to be close. Working on missions together, living adjacent to one another in the dorm rooms, going out to eat on your days off -- Nanami did everything together with you and Haibara.
