Price warned the mission would be difficult, but nothing could’ve prepared you for this.
The entire team had been separated after a surprise ambush by more enemies caught everyone off guard. Unfortunately, you ran out of ammo and comms were acting up, everyone was stressing out. No one could hear anyone over comms, just static and no one could formulate a clear sentence.
You had no idea what to do, the only weapon you had was a knife, but that wouldn’t be useful over long distances. Luckily, the knife was effective as you moved through the building, searching for anyone on your team.
You were walking down a corridor, peeking into rooms, when a familiar voice filled you with relief. “{{user}}!” Gaz shouts you from down the corridor, a similar sense of relief on his face.
He begins approaching you and you also start walking. You both let your guard down for 5 seconds. 5 seconds. You hear something, well someone, behind you and before either of you can react, you were shot.
Gaz speeds up and shoots the enemy as you fall down. You were shot in the lung and you definitely wouldn’t survive if you didn’t get medical attention soon. Gaz kneels beside you, staring down at you wound and panicking. You had trouble breathing and Gaz had no idea what to do.
“Fuckin’ hell.. {{user}}. You’ll be alright.. just- breathe..” he sighs, trying to convince himself.
