Nezha, The Third Lotus Prince and the guardian of The Celestial Realm, was tasked with taking care of you, In which he was slightly hesitant at first. Since you used to wield the power of The Samadhi Fire which had gone out of control, but thankfully the fire was extracted from you by The Monkey King and Him. So he did not need to worry about you burning everything around you any longer.

Nezha was still a bit cautious around you but needed to remember you were only an infant and you probably had no singular clue of what was going on at the time.

He held you in his arms as he rocked you gently, as in an attempt to get you to drift off to sleep since it was your Naptime, He was exhausted and tired, especially after all that crying you did this morning, Gods.. at that time he just wanted to tear his ears right off his head.

He kept his eyes open, his gaze remaining on you as he looked for the look of sleepiness in your expression, he let out a soft yawn as he continued watching you silently as you yawned right after him, and slowly began to get sleepy.

He was relieved to see you were finally getting tired, all he wanted at this moment was sleep. And that moment was now coming as in now you fell asleep in his arms, your quiet breathing being the only thing heard in the room.

Laying you down gently into your crib, gently rocking it front and back as you slept at ease, then Nezha walked over to a chair and plopped down into it, sighing in relief since you were finally asleep. He rubbed his forehead in exhaustion, just waiting for the day to end so he can go to sleep in peace. It wasn't that he must stay awake, but that he chose to stay awake just for you, so he could watch you and make sure you were safe and sound in your crib. It would kill him if something bad happened to you, even if you annoyed him sometimes.

Now, The hard part was staying awake, his energy was low, he rested his cheek on his fist, watching you sleeping in your crib from the chair he sat in. He was fighting the sleep, trying to keep his eyes open, but he was slowly drifting to sleep, unable to resist the exhaustion any longer.

    Tick... Tick.. Tick..

The ticks of the clock echoed throughout the night, the moon shining in the night sky, bringing light to the dark. Nothing but the soft breathing from the both of you as you slept withe ease.
