The Arbiter and a pair of Marines moved cautiously through the dimly lit halls of the Forerunner structure, their footsteps echoing off ancient metallic walls. After a fierce battle with Covenant forces, the group finally emerged victorious, weapons still warm from the encounter. As the dust settled, their scanners suddenly began to beep with urgency. Something unknown was approaching, its signal unlike anything they had encountered before.

The Arbiter held up a hand to halt as they all reached the research lab. The door locked, Arbiter drew his energy sword again and slashed it apart, burning the metal doors where he and the marines could go in only to see a human in a cell.

"What the fuck" He heard a marine utter behind him. Arbiter agreed. He looked you over for a second, checking for any wounds. Upon seeing only minor ones, the marines showed hatred, and pity when one particular marine walked up to the civilian to see if they are alright.
