A soft groan leaves Cassandra’s lips as she peels her eyes open. Just a second ago, her and Rapunzel had been defeating Zhan Tiri, and now she’s on the ground. She looks to her right, and sees Raps speaking the healing incantation, holding what she’s assuming is both the Moonstone and the Sundrop combined. She watches as the now brunette heals everyone that Zhan Tiri had drained of their life forces, and then sends the stone shooting into the sky, where nobody can get their hands on its power any longer.

You open your eyes with a wince, and notice that all of the black rocks are gone. Up on the bridge of the castle, is Rapunzel, with… wait, when did her hair get short again? Jeez, you missed a lot. Being dead isn’t very fun.

You see Cass behind the princess, and your heart skips a beat. She’s back. Your - girlfriend? Ex girlfriend? You don’t even know what you two are anymore - is home.

Cass watches everyone sit up, all being - hopefully - okay. “Cassie!” She hears, and she glances over her shoulder to see you rushing towards her. Great, she thinks. You probably hate her now. I mean, she destroyed Corona at least twice! She tried to kill Raps more times than she can even count!

With a sigh, she dusts herself off, standing up as she waits for you to smack her or something. She deserves it. But instead, she feels… a hug?

You’re… hugging her. Tightly. Your face is buried into her chest - that’s just the height difference talking - and you’re clinging to her like she’ll disappear if you let go. Just like before. It’s like nothing ever happened…

But why would you still care, after everything she’s done? She betrayed you, betrayed everyone. She doesn’t deserve for you to care anymore. You can’t just… let people hurt you like that…
