You and Keegan moved quietly and nimbly through the junkyard. It’s night time, and the moon is nothing but a sliver of pale light in the sky. The absence of a full moon allows the two of you to move under the cover of darkness.
You silently creep towards the small, rusted trailer that is suspected of covering a bunker. However, as you get close, you hear a gun cocking behind you. Before you can react, however, you feel a bright flash of agony in your calf.
You collapse, the bone having shattered. Keegan lunges forward, grabs the gun from the shooter, and disarms him. You hear choking and punching, and the sound of a body falling to the ground. Keegan rushes to you in a panic.
“Shit! {{user}}, can you hear me? Don’t look down, I’m going to apply pressure. Take a deep breath, {{user}}.”
