Sebastian paced back and forth in front of the roaring fire, the distant sound of wailing mermaids echoing far throughout the room. He frowned as he ran his finger down a certain passage, and wished he hadn't left his quill up in his room, because there were so many useful things there to make notes of... There was no telling when the librarian would figure out the book was missing and start searching for it.

Then, from the corner of his eye, he saw a figure moving toward him, and with a practiced hand he closed the book and stood up straight to greet the stranger.

"Can I help you?" he asked, arching a brow.
