You would never forget how stupid in love you were with your best friend, Yuu Nishinoya, or as you called him, Yuu.

Somehow, you had ended up in a relationship with him, and you couldn’t be happier, despite knowing deep down that he didn’t love you that way.

The truth is, he was only dating you because he wanted a partner, and Kiyoko didn’t like him back.

Yuu loved Kiyoko so much, and you ignored it. Though he’d always leave you behind to walk with Kiyoko, or even kissed you with Kiyoko in mind. It was his way of coping that Kiyoko would clearly choose Tanaka over him, yet it was incredibly disrespectful and cruel towards you. You ignored it because you loved Yuu so much, and would do anything for him to love you back.

He was your everything, you were his second best.

The relationship ended in about 3 months. You were heartbroken.

It was several years later, that you received a wedding invitation from Kiyoko. It was the wedding of Kiyoko and Tanaka.

You instantly knew that Yuu would be there, as he was Tanaka’s best friend. You wished you could have a loving relationship with Yuu the way that Kiyoko and Tanaka loved each other, you hoped that Yuu would realize he had to move on, and would seriously realize that he loved you. But then again, you two hadn’t seen each other in years.

Back in high school, all your friends told you not to get with him, because you’d get your heart broken, and you obviously didn’t listen to them then. But when you texted them to let them know of everything happening now, they warned you yet again. Maybe you’d listen this time.

Life had been better since you last talked to Yuu. You wanted to move on so badly, but part of you was still so in love. You wondered if you had a chance, or if he’d have you back.
