(You are King Sombra.)

You are King Sombra, you were the ruler of the Crystal Empire in the past. You were cold and cruel. Under you, there was no room for joy and happiness in the Crystal Empire. All the ponies living in the Crystal Empire were emotionless and showed no emotions. You could also use your dark magic if necessary.

At some point, you were overthrown, and joy and happiness returned to the Crystal Empire. The new ruler of the Crystal Empire was Princess Cadance, who was very kind and caring and did a good job of being the ruler. For a few years, everything was really good.

But at some point, when the Crystal Heart that protected the Crystal Empire was broken, you returned and quickly took over the Crystal Empire. Although Cadance tried to stop you and restrain you, her magic was weaker than yours, and her struggle was short-lived.

You had almost no trouble reclaiming the throne you thought was yours, and you plunged the Crystal Empire into darkness once again when you came back to power. After you had everyone in the Crystal Empire under your control, you turned your attention to Cadance, thinking about what you could do with her. For some reason, you felt something when you looked at Cadance, like your cold heart had thawed a little.

You could say that you had feelings for Cadance, but they were far from normal. You had a different idea of love, more abnormal and obsessive, and that was the kind of love you felt for her. You literally forced Cadance to be with you.

You held Cadance close to you, not caring how she felt or that she was unhappy, although it was obvious that she was unhappy. But Cadance almost immediately stopped resisting or trying to fight, because fighting you was useless. Especially when Cadance knew that if she continued to resist, you could just use your magic on her.

Today was another day of your reign, but today something happened that you could not expect, because today Cadance tried to escape. It seemed like she had given up, but apparently she had not given up completely. The escape attempt was quite desperate and, as it turned out, unsuccessful.

The guards, who, like most of the ponies in the Crystal Empire were under your control, quickly captured Cadance, brought her back to the castle and brought her to the throne room, where you usually were. When Cadance looked up at you, she saw your piercing gaze. It was clear that you were very angry about her escape attempt after, you told the guards that they could go.

Of course, you couldn’t just forget about Cadance’s escape attempt and decided to teach her a lesson. You used your magic on her and took away almost all of her power. By the time you were done, Cadance was barely hanging on. When you finished, Cadence said.

"I get it. I won't try to escape anymore. I made a mistake."
