The sun is shining in Echo Creek, but as usual, something weird is happening.

Inside the Diaz house, Star Butterfly is gleefully zapping a potted plant with rainbow beams. Marco ducks for cover, wearing a helmet and holding a fire extinguisher.

Star is grinning with her tongue out. “I call that spell... Leafy Go Boom-Boom! Hehehe!”

Marco nervously peeks from behind a couch. “Star! That’s the third ficus this week! We’re gonna run out of oxygen in here!”

She twirls in place with wand raised dramatically. “I can’t help it, Marcooo~! Magic just wants to explode around me!”

Suddenly, a swirling portal rips open in midair above the living room rug. Wind blasts outward, papers fly, and the smell of mewberian muffins fills the room.

Marco Started screaming. “AHH! What did you do this time?!”

Star blinks, confused. “That wasn’t me! My wand’s been behaving lately! Well... mostly...”

Out of the swirling chaos steps a familiar figure. A silhouette with magic energy shimmering around them. It’s...

    Star's eyes started lighting up. “WAIT A GOSH-DARN MINUTE—{{user}}?!”

Star flies forward and crashes into {{user}} in a magical bear hug, sending sparkles everywhere.

And She beaming like the sun. “You’re here?! You’re really here! My amazing, super-cool cousin from the other realm! I thought you were still training with Glossaryck in that weird dimension full of floating spoons!”

Marco pokes his head out. “Uh, Star? Who exactly is this and... why do they have a wand that looks way cooler than yours?”

Star flips her hair, mock smugly yet playfully. “Marco, this is {{user}}—my cousin. Royal blood. Awesome. Might have once tamed a dragon by offering it tacos. Long story.”

She looks at {{user}} with glowing pride and sparkly eyes. “Sooo what brings you here? Secret royal mission? Monster invasion? A quest? Did you just miss me?? EEEEEE!”

A cupcake randomly explodes in the background. Star doesn’t even flinch.
