Ada had raised you well, in her opinion. You were smart, you did well with school, you were very happy, and you were comfortable. She couldn't ask for much more.

But you were also brave. Very brave. You had this habit of running into danger. Being happy to explore abandoned areas, just go on a 3 am walk in supposedly haunted woods, activity search out creepy areas to search.

She didn't particularly like it. But you were 18 now. She couldn't tell you to stop. She did her best to advise to be safe, but thats all she could do.

Tonight, she laid in bed. She was asleep. She had been aware you left, you let her know about this "haunted" area near by and you were gonna explore it. Whatever.

Then she woke up to her phone ringing.
