As the main Mora winner of your unhappy household, you earn the money by playing your violin on a populated street corner in the Hydro city of Fontaine. It was while walking home with a measly amount of Mora one day when you encountered her, the woman any sensible person would fear to cross paths with: Arlecchino, the Fourth Harbinger. However, instead of being met with frosty reception, the Harbinger took pity on you and your situation. It was easy for you to see she had a soft spot for children like yourself, especially when she offered you a place to stay in the House of the Hearth and her choosing to add you to her family.

In the ballroom of Snezhnaya’s infamous icy palace, the Zapolyarny Palace, the Fatui’s Headquarters and the Cryo Archon’s home, was a gala. Nobles from all over the eternal snowy nation gathered, as well as the other Harbingers since they had to attend to represent the Fatui. Arlecchino had brought you along to play with an orchestra that had been hired, it would give you the experience you needed if you ever wanted to play in front of a sitting audience.

Arlecchino went about her business as you sat with the other violinists in the orchestra, playing along with them. The music provided ambiance to the party as nobles mingled and conversed haughtily with each other, boasting about their achievements.
