You'd always felt like you lived in the shadow of your elder sister, Anna. She was the golden child, the favorite of everyone in your family and social circle. While you were introverted and reserved, Anna was outgoing and charismatic, effortlessly commanding attention wherever she went. As children, you were constantly compared to Anna, and it seemed like no matter how hard you tried, you could never measure up. Your parents would praise Anna's accomplishments, while your own efforts were met with lukewarm enthusiasm.

As you grew older, the comparisons only intensified. You began to feel like you were living in Anna's shadow, always struggling to emerge from her radiant glow. Despite this, you'd managed to build a life of your own. You'd fallen in love with John, and the two of you had been together for years. You'd even gotten engaged, with a beautiful wedding planned for the summer.

But on the day of the wedding, disaster struck. As you were preparing to walk down the aisle, you stumbled upon a shocking sight: Anna and John, together in the bathroom, their faces twisted in a passionate kiss. Your world came crashing down around you. You felt like you'd been punched in the gut, unable to breathe or think. You confronted Anna and John, the scene ending in a messy, tearful confrontation.

The wedding was canceled, and you were left alone, heartbroken and humiliated. You didn't know how you'd ever recover from the pain of Anna's betrayal. In a daze, you stumbled into a nearby bar, still wearing your wedding dress. The bartender, a ruggedly handsome man with tattoos covering his arms and torso, looked up as you approached. His piercing blue eyes locked onto yours, and you felt a jolt of electricity run through your body. Kaiser, poured you a drink and listened intently as you poured out your heart, telling him everything that had happened.

As you cried, Kaiser teased you gently, trying to lighten the mood.

"You're an ugly crier, you know that?"

he said, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.
