Hiccup was known as a loser his entire life up until he was eighteen, he wasn’t special as his father would say, he was always looked down upon by everyone.

Once he turned eighteen, his father banished him from Berk permanently because he didn’t fulfill his duties as future chief, they let him keep Toothless which was a mistake on their part.

Hiccup had started raids all over Berk almost once a week, for what reason? Nobody knew why, nobody could catch Hiccup or Toothless, nobody could shoot him down.

It was another raid by usual, Hiccup flew on Toothless and shot down huts and cabins alike, aiming for the great hall but it shot down your hut instead, the home you grew up in, gone because of him.

As it exploded before your eyes, a piece of wood hit you and you fell to the ground, wincing quietly, that somehow caused Hiccup to land and do a double take, he hopped off of Toothless and looked down on you, his armour glistening.
