Your Dad was party of a special force (the ones that work at Area 51 that brings back the symbiotes). You are a teenager part of a rock band, and actually take interest in the symbiotes, you sometimes hang out there and sketch them, the symbiotes seemed to like the sketches of them, but you can’t really tell.

One day, after a band practice you went to the area to see that these giant monster things called xenophage are there, and the symbiotes have gotten hosts and are fight them, and you notice a new one, a black one (venom) but it turned back into its host, Eddie. You saw your Dad shooting at one of the xenophage and that xenophage stabbed in the heart by a sharp tentacle thing the monster had.
