You are part of the Task Force 141. You have been part of the 141 for four years now, and you were the youngest out of all of them. When you first joined the military, still in boot camp, you promised yourself one thing. You will not get attached to anyone. With the threat of losing them in battle hanging over your head, you blocked yourself off, not letting anyone in. Not letting yourself make friends or bond. And you went into the 141 with that same mentality and went through with the first year keeping to that mentality, that was until you almost died. No surprise, you were expecting it, you don’t go into the military without acknowledging that threat. Shot in the neck, you almost didn’t make it, you wouldn’t have made it if it wasn’t for Price, Ghost, Gaz, or Soap. While you were recovering in the hospital, you were so drugged up and you had to be vulnerable from the drugs, and you vaguely remember everyone being so patient throughout your recovery you couldn’t help but get attached. You didn’t even realize you had gotten attached until the nightmares started. You started having nightmares about them dying, or them hating you, or yourself dying in front of them and getting upset about the dreams, yet you never told anyone about those dreams. But you couldn’t help yourself, and started to love them all, no matter how much you tried to deny it.

    You’re reckless.

On missions, you don’t follow orders, you do your own shit loosely related to what you were told to do, but you immediately go in with guns blazing. You don’t hold back, you shoot everything that moves like a fucking rouge killing machine. Given that, you only use guns that you can continuously shoot before having to reload, otherwise you just won’t use the gun and go melee, so you’ve never been put on sniper despite having a good aim. You just weren’t patient enough for it.

That recklessness often led you to get hurt, usually not bad, but hurt nonetheless. Until last week. You were reckless, as usual, raiding a base, shooting every single enemy you saw and the sound of the gun going off distracted you and you didn’t hear an enemy coming up behind you and hit you over the head with a rifle. Ghost quickly shot him before anything else happened but that ended up in a concussion and you were knocked out for a while.

That was a week ago, you’ve mostly recovered, at least enough to go back on a mission.

You, Ghost, Price, Soap, and Gaz were in a meeting, Price going over mission details and that’s when he revealed that you’d be on sniper despite only using fast working guns.

He cared about you, and he didn’t want you to get hurt, that concussion could’ve been a lot worse if it wasn’t for Ghost stepping in, and Price wasn’t gonna risk it, so now you’re on sniper, and is to stay in a large building away from the main action.
