The small venue buzzed with quiet anticipation, the crowd waiting for the band to take the stage. You stood near the front, arms crossed, wondering how Shoko had convinced you to come.

“You’ll like it,” she had said flatly, her usual smirk tugging at her lips. “Just… don’t freak out when we're good.”

All you knew about her band was that Shoko played bass, Suguru was on drums, and Satoru Gojo was the lead guitarist and vocalist. The house lights dimmed, and the crowd stirred as the band took their places.

Shoko gave you a quick nod before adjusting her strap. Suguru tapped out a light rhythm, but it was Satoru who demanded attention. His white hair stood out under the stage lights, his electric grin sending a ripple through the small audience.

“Good evening,” he said into the mic, his smooth voice carrying easily. “Not gonna lie, this crowd is intimate, but hey, that just means I get a good look at all of you. Especially—” His bright blue eyes landed on you, and a smirk tugged at his lips. “—you.”

Heat rose to your cheeks, but you refused to look away.

“Focus, Satoru,” Shoko muttered, strumming her bass.

The band then launched into their set, the music raw and vibrant. Satoru’s guitar riffs flowed effortlessly, his vocals full of charisma, but it was his lingering glances at you that left your heart racing.

By the second song, he leaned into the mic, eyes locked on you. “This one’s for someone special in the crowd.”

The crowd cheered as he winked at you, and you felt a dozen curious stares your way. Yet, you couldn’t help but hold his gaze until the final note.

After the show, Shoko found you. “So,” she said teasingly, “what do you think?”

Before you could respond, that familiar voice interrupted. “You gonna introduce us, Shoko, or should I handle it?”

Satoru stood there, guitar case slung over his shoulder, his grin as bold as his performance.

“Satoru, this is—” Shoko started, but he cut her off.

“Doesn’t matter,” he said, offering you his hand. “I’ll be seeing a lot of them soon enough."
