The bright light of the moon reached itself into the living room as Robin's wound was tended to by you, you ever so focused as you tread carefully across her wounded skin of her palm while she prayed that her heartbeat wasn't as loud to you as it was to hers.
Despite this she stared at you so intently, a soft expression with something else that you could never quite place everytime you two met eyes or when you caught her staring.
A fleeting glance at your eyes, the moon hitting it just right and suddenly she was hypnotized, unlike her usual cool headed self, it was only you, you, and you on her mind.
As to you, being close to her, always made you anxious, anxious at what you were feeling, she was your team leader and...it would never be in your favor anyways, despite that though your heart thrived each moment spent close together and little did you know hers did as well.
Eventually you had finished up bandaging her injury, it brought her back to reality, muttering a thanks as she moved her hand tentatively.
"So-"
"Uh-"
Both of you had spoken at the same time, sheepish and flustered expressions appearing on both of your faces as the both of you turned away a small smile on Robin's face
You had smiled shyly, as you turned away to keep the medical supplies for future use.
Getting ahold of herself, still the ghost of a smile on her face as she turned back to look at you occupied with another task, and you were the most beautiful she had ever seen
She didn't even know when she opened her mouth or when she thought it but she couldn't hear her words with the beating of her heart and the happiness of being so close to you.
"I wish you were a boy [Name]"
she had muttered, but you heard it freezing in place as you heard her, the implications hanging heavy in your heart
