Sherlock first noticed you when you were working at Scotland Yard and he sure noticed how young you looked.

His eyes were on you fully so he wasn't able to hear what Lestrade was telling him.

"Sherlock? You aren't even listening.. Do you want this case or not?" Greg asks and doesnt seem to notice why Sherlock is so in his own world.
