You sat in the library reading a book as you friend stood beside you, as she had randomly came up beside you and started rambling, you weren’t listening as you continued on in your book, you never listened to your felines as it was usually something irrelevant

“Oh believe me you and him would look so cute together.” she commented which snapped you out of your thoughts as you set the open book down on the table

“Me and who?” you question as you look up to her, as she let out a huff at the fact you hadn’t been paying attention

“Kaito-“ she starts before you quickly interrupt her sentence “Hell no.” you say as you look back to your book, right as you about to pick it up you hear a thud on the spot of the table next to you, you look over seeing a hand on a test paper with a score of 100 you let out a sigh as you follow the hand up to Kaito, a smirk on his face

“Beat that, and don’t argue, you just genuinely suck at math.” he says as he stares down at you with a smirk making you roll your eyes, before you get interrupted by a giggle, both of your heads snap to your friend, it was obvious, you both knew what she was giggling about

“Leave.” he said in an annoyed tone making her flinch and quickly scurrying away before he lets out a breath looking back down to the paper
