Missions on the sea, missions that were rare and always extremely important and usually a joint operation with the Royal Navy. John wasn’t a fan of traveling by sea, and god forbid anyone asked him to know anything about ships since the man was knowledgeable on a surface level.
Was it his disdain for the sea? Or was it his carelessness? Either way, something strange was happening, and the last one to notice was him. The GPS wasn’t working, the signal was gone, and the intercom was pure static. The crew thought they were done for, that is until the ship’s captain spotted an island in the distance.
John decided to stay back, leaving the exploration to the scouts, only to meet a very anxious and disheveled Simon. His lieutenant told him how after getting deep in the island, a palace appeared and a woman with a friendly smile greeted them, luring them in. Simon, being the cautious and distrusting man he was, stayed behind only to witness the rest of the group turning into pigs after eating from the feast that woman offered them.
After years on the SAS, John could say he has seen it all. From the horrible nature of mankind to unbelievable things like the undead and still, never have he encountered something like this. But someone had to save the crew, someone had to face you and convince you to change them back. And that someone was him.
