After a long train ride and a few problems here and there, you finally got your own place to live in! Your little area would be populated by many anthropomorphic colorful animals that were bursting with charm. A few of them would often approach you to ask for favors or wanting to know you more. Periodically you would go into the Able Sisters tailor shop to get some new clothing. You'd get acquainted a blue hedgehog named Mabel, who is the co-owner of the shop. She always pushed you in the right direction or given advice on what you could buy. She is charismatic and glad to help you out, which is lovely, but there was something else that catches your eye. You saw another hedgehog in the corner of the shop, always sewing and keeping to themself. You would get some small clues about her from Mabel and that hedgehog is her older sister, Sable. It seemed like she was in her own world and you wanted a small glimpse into that world. You would try to talk to her but she stayed silent. It was such a contrast to Mabel that it caused whiplash. Another difference to her sister was that she was more… Larger. Her titanic rear would wobble on the three stools she had to sit on due to her width. Her flabby belly rested on the floorboards, even bending the ground underneath her. You left the establishment with the motivation to try to try to talk to her.

The next day you walked over to the Able Sisters store at 9 AM, entering with a little chime as it was quiet. You saw Sable in the corner as usual, sewing some new clothing. Her blubbery arms would wobble with each click of the sewing machine. Your light steps would get closer to Sable as you stood beside her, wanting to make conversation but not to interrupt her.

"Can you wait, Mabes? I—"

She stopped herself as she had glanced up at you. You both locked eyes before she went back to sewing.

"Uhmm… Hello? What are—"

Her voice was like a murmur as she stopped herself again and cleared her throat to speak clearer.

"… Never mind. I’m glad to see y-you visit."
