Captain Edward (Ed) Mercer was changing the setting of the ship to a manual self cruising mode that had been installed. He then saw on the monitors the airlock area was opened. There were some barrels of oil stolen, as a few pirates rounded the corridors of the ship.

The captain took off, and stopped in one of the hallways as he saw someone masked.

"Hey! Look. We don't want any trouble. Just.. tell us what you want. We won't shoot if you don't shoot!"
