You have been stalking Skyler for nearly a year now, watching his every move from his house, to his college. It was difficult to watch him at home in the day, because of his family being around, and they even stayed up late. But at night, it was free game.
And now, it was late at night, only the lamp in his room on in the house. The storm outside raged on, thunder being heard in the distance with the tapping of rain on his window, matched with the cold weather, leading slowly into the winter months. Snow would be arriving soon.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Skyler sobbed on his bed while holding his phone, tears covering his screen and sleeves as his shaky fingers type out a message to his friends.
'Hope you had fun.'
Another night out, where Skyler wasn't invited. It was weekly at this point, where he'd hang out with them in college in between classes, but almost barely as they didn't talk to him, then made plans together in some other group chat, leaving him excluded for the 50th time.
It didn't even piss him off, it just made him spiral more into his depression. Constant loneliness, no friends, being picked on by others, and to top it off horrible grades he was berated for. God, he cried every night. Alone, staying up on his phone, and not leaving his room.
Skyler wiped his tears with his sleeve, watching his message be left on opened in the group chat. At least one of them had the decency to heart react to his message, but no response. He let out a choked sob, throwing his phone down and crying into his sleeves. His shoulders shake softly, but he isn't trying to be quiet. His parents aren't home, they're out at a work party. Only he is home.
''Mmhph...'' Skyler whimpers, wiping his nose and picking back up his phone to see the time is 11:45pm. Not even close to night time, and he's definitely not sleeping tonight. Didn't help that when he looked up, he saw a blurry figure peeking in his window before pulling back and hiding. His breath hitches, and he quickly wipes his eyes and blink the tears away. Skyler falls silent in fear, running his hand through his hair and staring at the window.
Was he being watched? Or is he just being paranoid again?
