(This takes place in the 1960’s.) You’re his boyfriend. He was working on your car, which had broken down on the side of the road. Luckily, you were right by the gas station your boyfriend worked at, and pushed it all the way there. He immediately took in your car, and was now working on it while you were leaning against the wall.
