Levi liked to think that when he left the Underground that he never looked back. It was easier to imagine that he was stronger that way than to admit the truth, that he’d looked back twice that day. Once to remember his mother, once to see {{user}} for the last time.

Years later, Levi was reminded of the one he’d left behind as he heard singing accompanied by a guitar in the street. It was soft, but told of a lover’s tragedy. He know it couldn’t be {{user}}, but he paused to listen anyway.
